Not sure about the ending BUT the idea of a franchise may work, yes! Like the next one could be in Hogwarts in 1200... I like that idea!

Gonna go deluxe edition on this one. Been trying to not let myself get too hyped but that cinematic trailer is making it tough. It could be a dream come true if it’s actually as good as it looks.

I don't know if a direct sequel to the videogame or a similar game in the Wizarding World. It would be hard to make a sequel since you create the main character and the story will be different for every player. At which point of the story would the 2nd game start, if the first one ended differently for everyone?

But it would be possible, yeah!

I think most games generally converge on a similar ending for all paths taken. One interesting thing about the state of video game development though is how long it takes these days. Think about how long it took to make this game. I read an interesting post a few weeks ago that if a studio wanted to make a big game and started development on it now, it would likely be for the next generation of consoles. If they’re deciding to make a sequel based on reaction to this game, it might take some time. But then again, the sequel to the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was made way faster than expected.
