"Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. For the first time, experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it."
Hogwarts Legacy is the open-world RPG that Harry Potter fans have been waiting for years. They promise that we'll be able to freely walk around Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest and "the surrounding overland area", as a Hogwarts student in the 1800.
The game will be released on February 10th, 2023, for PC, Xbox, PS4 and PS5 (the Nintendo Switch release date is still unknown).
The idea of this post is to discuss the game pre-release. Below you'll find some questions to trigger discussion:
- Are you looking forward to it? Will you buy it?
- How will you play it? PC? Playstation? Nintendo Switch?
- Do you expect it to respect the canon? Will it expand the Wizarding World lore?
- Do you think we will see some Harry Potter characters?
- Are you afraid that this game will end up being a new Cyberpunk 2077?

I also fully recommend this video by WolfHeartFPS, where he reviews the available footage and makes some guesses regarding the game: "Hogwarts Legacy May Be Much "Bigger" Than You Think.. ?"
What do you guys think?
